Religion and race are two of the toughest topics to discuss. There is so much potential for offense, misinformation, and deep hurt that nobody wants to try and those who are brave enough can easily miss the mark. We want to take on the challenge of facilitating this very necessary conversation. From the first viral police shooting to the election of Donald Trump, it seems that the buried wounds of racism and racial tensions have been rippling through our nation. It begs the question: Is Christianity a part of the solution or part of the problem? Furthermore, how do we grapple with our history properly? Where do we go from here? What can the Church do?
If you're curious about the answers or have your own questions, then you should definitely join us. We will have some great speakers and dedicated times to have smaller, facilitated group discussions.
This conference will feature curated art and a live performance. You don't want to miss it!
